Job Description:

- Inspecting products and services to ensure they meet quality standards
- Developing and implementing inspection standards
- Writing and reviewing test plans
- Reporting defects and suggesting improvements
- Training other quality assurance team members
- Working with other departments to coordinate testing
Quality management
- Establishing quality procedures, standards, and specifications
- Reviewing customer requirements
- Working with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
- Monitoring performance and identifying areas of weakness
- Leading initiatives in continuous improvement
- Providing training and tools to help others achieve quality standards
Quality inspector
- Inspecting products and services to ensure they meet quality standards
- Reporting defects and suggesting improvements
- Following basic quality techniques, possibly including calibration
Quality jobs may require a bachelor's degree, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
