A Testing Engineer or Quality role involves developing and executing test plans to ensure products (especially
software) meet quality, functionality, and performance standards. Key duties include designing test cases,
identifying and documenting defects, performing various types of testing (functional, regression, performance),
collaborating with development teams to resolve issues, and continuously improving testing processes.
Key Responsibilities

Planning and Design:Design, develop, and document comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product specifications and requirements.

Execution:Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and security.

Defect Management:Identify, document, and defects, working with developers to ensure they are resolved.

Collaboration:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product needs and communicate findings.

Process Improvement:Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Reporting:Create clear reports on test results, defects found, and overall product quality status for development teams and management.
