A lathe machine operator sets up and runs lathes to cut, shape, and form materials like metal, wood, or plastic into precise
components by interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and speeds, and monitoring the machine for accuracy

Machine Setup:Load materials, set up cutting tools, and adjust machine speeds and feed rates to match job specifications.

Operation:Operate the lathe machine to perform various operations such as turning, boring, threading, facing, and drilling.

Quality Control:Measure and inspect finished parts using various instruments to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.

Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on the machine, replace worn tools, and keep the machine and work area clean and organized.
