Store / Warehouse Supervisor – Injection Moulding (Packaging Industry)

Working Hours: Generally 10 am – 6.30 pm with 1 weekly off as discussed with Procurement Manager

Reports To: Procurement Manager

Salary Range: 20 – 25K per month depending on experience

POSITION PURPOSE / ROLE

The Store/Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging components and spare parts. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely material availability for production, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The supervisor plays a key role in supporting production continuity and optimizing warehouse operations. The Store/Warehouse Supervisor manages day-to-day warehouse activities, coordinates with procurement and production teams, and ensures proper documentation and handling of goods. The role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Supervise all warehouse operations including receiving, exchanging, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials

 Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits

 Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components for production

 Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment

 Oversee handling and storage of injection moulding spare parts and moulds

 Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and maintain shelf-life tracking for materials

 Ensure proper labelling, stacking, and segregation of goods

 Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for material flow

 Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the warehouse

 Train and manage warehouse staff; conduct performance reviews and shift planning

 Operate and supervise use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment

 Prepare and maintain documentation for inward/outward movement, GRNs, and dispatch records

 Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

 Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control systems

 Familiarity with plastic raw material, packaging materials, injection moulding components, and spare parts is a plus

 Experience with inventory tracking and control

 Ability to lead and motivate warehouse staff across shifts

 Good understanding of safety protocols and material handling practices

 Problem-solving mind-set with ability to resolve logistical and inventory issues

 Effective communication and coordination skills

QUALIFICATIONS

 Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/store supervision, preferably in a manufacturing setup

 Experience in packaging or injection moulding industry is highly desirable

 Certification in inventory management is an advantage
