A Tool & Die Maker designs, constructs, repairs, and maintains high-precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and molds used in manufacturing processes
Key Responsibilities-
- Production & Fabrication: Read/interpret technical blueprints, CAD files, and sketches to create, assemble, and test tools, dies, and gauges.
- Machining Operations: Set up and operate machine tools (milling machines, lathes, grinders, drills) to produce precision parts, frequently using CNC equipment.
