Job Description: Account Assistant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and on time.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of tax filings (GST, TDS, etc.) and compliance requirements.
• Assist in payroll processing and maintain employee expense records.
• Support the finance team in budget preparation and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding payment follow-ups.
• Ensure timely data entry into accounting software (Tally)
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: [0-2] years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally and MS Excel).
4. Knowledge of taxation and compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) is preferred.
5. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial transactions.
7. Good communication and organizational skills.
