Coordinating with Plant Head for preparing specifications of required materials, obtaining quotations for materials, preparing POs,
follow up for materials, vendor capacity evaluation for selection,
Coordinating with supplier for replacement/return of rejected materials,
Coordinating with Accounts Department for payment to vendors.
Oversee all levels of shop floor activity and performance
Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
Provide training to staff / workers as necessary
Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order
Repair or replace plant equipment as needed
Qualifications :
Proven experience working in plant operations requiredGood understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
- Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues
- Proficient with word processors, mails, work sheets and other Office applications in computers
- Familiar with operating plant equipment, safely and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - customers, vendors and local authorities
- Strong leadership and managerial attributes. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
