Roles and Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Inspection and testing: Inspecting and testing electrical systems and equipment, including circuit breakers, fuses, wiring, and lighting fixtures
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults and malfunctions
- Preventative maintenance: Developing and maintaining a preventative maintenance plan to avoid electrical issues
- Documentation: Recording test results and the cost of repairs and services
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
